Pit Firing Fun!!

Well I just had my last Pit Fire of the season. I do like Pit Firing but I do prefer the glazed look to my pieces. It was a successful firing. I only lost one piece to breakage. So now I have been sketching out some ideas for my next pieces. I can't wait till 2012! Until then.....

My First Pit Firing

I'm counting down the days when I have my hands back in clay...about 120 :) It seems way too long..but with the Holidays coming up I'm sure it will go by quickly. My first pit fire was good. I would like to add come Copper to the next one to give a lil red color to the pieces. I hope to have another before the first snow.

Is Spring here yet???

I hope this winter goes by fast. I have been thinking about new and exciting creations. I think road blocks in life are put up for a reason. I haven't been able to work with clay the last 6 months. But all Artists need time for refection and my thoughts have run wild with new ideas. I can't wait to share them soon. :)
